Daniel A. Rudolph

Dan’s practice focuses on the representation of both landlords and tenants in the leasing of retail, office, and industrial properties throughout the country. Dan has substantial experience representing landlords in the negotiation of leases with national anchor tenants, grocery stores, and drug stores, including Aldi, Lidl, Grocery Outlet, Giant, Safeway, Harris Teeter, Wegmans, Sprouts, Piggly Wiggly, Ross, HomeGoods, Michaels, Marshalls, Burlington, BJ’s, Kohl’s, PetSmart, Floor & Décor, Bob’s Discount Furniture, Gabes, Party City, Barnes & Noble, Equinox Fitness Clubs, Planet Fitness, Crunch Fitness, Ulta, Big Lots, Hibbett Sports, Dollar Tree, Five Below, AutoZone, Panera, Taco Bell, SweetGreen, Wingstop, Walgreens, and CVS, and ground leases with national tenants such as Chipotle, McDonald’s, Burger King, Wendy’s, Chick-fil-A, Texas Roadhouse, Popeyes, Sheetz, 7-Eleven, Royal Farms, Starbucks, Dunkin, Chase, TD Bank, Wells Fargo, and Outback. Dan also has represented both national and regional tenants. During the course of a career that has included partnership at other private law firms and in-house counsel experience at large corporations, Dan has developed a reputation for both the high quality of his work and his ability to efficiently push a deal to a successful conclusion, while implementing creative solutions that support the business interests of his clients.

Dan received a Bachelor of Arts, with distinction, from the University of Michigan, and a Juris Doctor from the Georgetown University Law Center, where he served as Senior Associate Editor of the American Criminal Law Review. He is admitted to practice in Maryland and the District of Columbia, and is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association, the Bar Association of Montgomery County, Maryland, the District of Columbia Bar Association, and the International Council of Shopping Centers.
